Mutual Inductance between Spiral Inductors
This tool calculates mutual inductance between two symmetrical spiral inductors. Magnetic coupling between the two inductors can be one of the sources of coupling that lead to increase in spurious tones, crosstalk and even PLL unlocking behavior. The tool equation is referenced from IEEE RFIC symposium 2008 paper "A Simple and Complete Circuit Model for the Coupling between Symmetrical Spiral Inductors in Silicon RF-ICs" by F. Vecchi et.al.
