You can screen capture the plot using freesoftware like MWSnap and then save it as jpeg/gif. You can also save cadence plot as postscript or pdf and convert using freeware like xv

I set up an HPGL printer to print to a file and then imported that into other files. It gives a cleaner schematic, I have never been gappy with the jpg outputs

if you go to print files..it should should show you a pdf printer and you can get those files in pdf files...if not than you can download pdf printer.it's available on net for free...

I wrote a perl script at one point to handle this. You will need to make get jpegtran (can rotate jpg because cadence is almost always off 90 degrees) and gs ghost script is on most linux/unix machines. Search the internet for this and install in a path directory.
